Air Canada to add Mumbai to its network from July 2017


Air Canada to add Mumbai to its network from July 2017Air Canada announced the addition of a year-round thrice week Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner service between Toronto and Mumbai. The new services will launch on July 1, 2017.
The new flights to Mumbai will complement the four time non - stop direct weekly service between New Delhi and Toronto , which will become a daily service on November 6, 2016 as also the introduction of a seasonal thrice a week service between New Delhi and Vancouver on October 20, 2016.

 

                                                                           


Vistara inaugurates daily service to Port Blair from Delhi & Kolkata


Vistara, inaugurated operations to Port Blair, as its flight UK 747 took off from Delhi for Port Blair via Kolkata, at 0720 hours. With the addition of Port Blair to its rapidly expanding pan-India network, Vistara now serves 18 destinations across the length and breadth of the country. Vistara also announced the addition of a third daily flight between Delhi and Kolkata to cater to the Puja rush. This supplementary flight will operate between September 30 and October 12.
The new service to Port Blair offers a daily flight from Delhi and Kolkata (same aircraft service via Kolkata), with arrival and departure timings that allow for convenient connections to ferry and catamaran services between Port Blair and Havelock Island.


Jet Airways offers connectivity to North America and Europe

 

Jet Airways now offers connectivity to North America and Europe over Paris, as part of its revised winter schedule, along with its partners Air France and Delta Air Lines.
Effective October 30, 2016, flight 9W 124 from Mumbai to Paris will depart at 0250 hrs IST and arrive at 0820hrs local time, while on the return leg, 9W 123, will depart Paris at 1130hrs local time and land in Mumbai at 0045 hrs IST the following day.
As a result of the revised timings, guests will now be able to connect to 25 European and more than 10 North American cities over Paris. Some of the popular destinations in Europe include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Nice, Oslo, Prague, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Vienna, and Zurich.
Similarly, the new schedule will offer guests convenient connections over Paris to Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, San Francisco, Washington, Vancouver, Montréal and Mexico City in North America.

 

                                                                           
IndiGo connects Bengaluru to Patna, Varanasi & Imphal from Oct 24

 

IndiGo has introduced its first daily return flights connecting Bengaluru to Patna, Varanasi and Imphal on Oct 24. The airline is introducing 47 new flights on its existing route network during October 2016. With this and the induction of five new Airbus A320 aircraft during the month, the airline’s frequency will increase to 883 daily.
